Hamper for Chinese New Year

Finally found a way to get the pictures in the blog!

The hamper theme for this year has a nice classy classic feel to it.
I really like it especially the limited edition basket.
I have already prebook the medium size basket for 26 piece order today a company's order
and there is only 9 piece left.... I think I will grab ALL of it !
Anyway, no worries, I will come up with something if medium size basket
if gone by end of this week !

Christmas with Giordano in the Orphanage

Had a priviledge to join Giordano  in bringing some Christmas

cheers in an orphanage. Getting there is a hassle.

Lesson to learn - dont trust your GPS 100%..

Christmas Gifts

This week has been a crazy week for me

.. craziness in terms of everything crams in a week time frame

did this cookies for a friend and the repeat orders came

in the same day I deliver the first batch.

Glad they like it

Also did the almond slice , but has not picture to show it.- forgot

to take pictures!

 

English Tea Party

Has been eager to this job for Transmarco who holds a few

prominent brands in Malaysia like Hush Puppy.

It is a English Tea Party Theme

had a very wide spread of tea from Earl Grey, English Breakfast ,

assorted chinese tea, coffee

 

we had cupcakes

layered butter cake

promegranate flan -  sourish promegranate with a sweet custard below

chocolate chips cookies looking so 'sweet' here

savoury stuff like mushroom quiches, chicken quiches

croissant with smoke salmon and a few other stuff.

Had very good feedback for this tea party ..

hurrah !!!  

 

 



Chocolate Art

well it confirmed that I need more practice with

rolled fondant. Did a rolled fondant for an order last week...

it was just messy and have to redo it as it did not stand

and it was 'sweating'....

end up doing this chocolate art which I remember my second cousin did

during Christmas when I was 12.

it is chocolate.

definately taste better than fondant .

Something's quacking

I like this rubber duck theme fullmoon packs

there are some small packs for friends and the larger pack for family

this is a smaller pack

it has cookies hidden below the 'water'

Titus is ONE..

So fast, Titus is ONE month old.

Instead of a traditional fullmoon packs,

this is something that can be kept and given for the next 2 weeks!

Sugarless Apple Cinnamon Poppy Seed Cake

this is my first attempt baking a sugarless cake.

The sweetness were extracted from the raisins...

 

and apples

I am waiting for verdict whether the cake is good....
